• Age 18 to 35 years
• Proficiency in English language will add value.
• Efficiency in MS office (MS word, Power point).
• Photography and Video editing skill will be highly appreciated.
• Data collection, event report writing and Research work related experience will get preference.
• Must be willing to full time stay without any break including all holidays in rural communities of Rangpur, Gaibandha, Barisal and Satkhira maximum of 12 weeks as a youth volunteer and maximum of 16 weeks as a team leader. Please note that your placement location will decide by NCS Team of VSO Bangladesh and that will be Non-Negotiable subject to discuss further with NCS Team of VSO Bangladesh.
• A clear interest in community development and proactive towards the development of marginalized people.
• Habituated/interested to reside in remote villages with basic accommodation, food, and other facilities.
• Committed and proactive to work in a diverse multi-cultural team.
• Commitment to share experiences with team members and proactive to take actions in the respective local community after completion of the cycle.

Compensation & Other Benefits

• VSOB will take the responsibility for Basic Accommodation and Food, Medical Support, Life Insurance, Transport, Safety and Security during the placement. In addition, both youth volunteers & team leaders will receive an allowance of BDT 8,000 per month. Both youth volunteers & team leaders will get a certificate after completion of the cycle from VSO Bangladesh.
